The photographers behind Gneborg Studio know a little something about playing with our imagination. In a collaboration since 2004, Geoffrey Cottenceau and Romain Rousset have created numerous pieces of visually engaging art out of their Lausanne studio. They use everyday materials such as chairs, tables, mattresses, sheets, covers and pillows.
A common thread among their photographs is that they all tell a story - or at least the beginning of one. It is up to the imagination of the beholder to propel these strange occurrences forward. For instance, is this Matterhorn actually alive? And is that elephant going to walk off the stage?
