Movie Night on International Literacy Day (Zürich)

September 8 is International Literacy Day.

In honor of this event, the American Women’s Club of Zurich is teaming up with the Zurich International Women’s Association and Room to Read for an informative and inspiring evening.

A highlight will be the screening of the documentary “Girl Rising”, which journeys around the globe to introduce you to nine unforgettable girls living in the developing world. They are ordinary girls who confront tremendous challenges and overcome nearly impossible odds to pursue their dreams.

You are sure to be inspired by the strength of the human spirit and the power of education to change the world. Popcorn and snacks are included. Advanced registration appreciated but not required.
