Camellia Flower Festival Locarno 2025: Dates, Tickets, Guide
Mar 19 - Mar 23
The Camellia Flower Festival in Locarno is the most important event of its kind in Europe.
We have visited the beautiful setting of Camellia Park in Locarno on numerous occasions. During springtime, when the temperatures north of the Alps are still chilly, Locarno is our favorite escape.
Due to its sheer size, the Camellia Flower Exhibit is outperformed only by similar initiatives promoted in Japan, the home country of this exquisite flower. The Camellia Park bordering Lago Maggiore features over 200 types of this flower, splendidly arranged by experienced gardeners.
Camellia flowers are considered an enrichment to the botanical patrimony. They are present in the private and public gardens of the Locarno region.
