Japanese Summer Festival (Münchenstein)

Before the leaves start falling, a family festival lets us soak in summer one more time.

Organized by the Japanese Association in Basel, this year’s summer festival awaits with a great line-up of activities, music and live performances. There will be a karate demonstration, a Japanese harp concert and calligraphy workshops.

Oh, and have I mentioned the food?

From 11 AM until 3 PM, there will be curry, takoyaki (fried octopus), gyoza dumplins, sushi and lots of varieties of Japanese sweets.

Finally, a hint: Those visitors who show up in a Japanese kimono or a cosplay outfit get free admission! I wonder how many Pokémons will make their way to the festival…
