There’s a Latin American Film Festival in St. Gallen

During five days this November, St. Gallen will heat up thanks to the Latin American Film Festival.

The ninth edition promises a wealth of documentaries, feature films and shorts. This year’s curation focuses on the timely themes of discrimination, integration and migration, and there will be a total of 13 films and 14 shorts from 11 nations.

For instance, LOS PERROS is the story of a woman who befriends a horseback coach with a questionable background. Or take LA NOVIA DEL DESIERTO, the epic journey of a maid who finds herself (and more) about losing her purse in the Argentinian desert.

In addition, live music, book readings and entertainment for the little ones will complete the festival program at Kino Rex in St. Gallen.
