We're excited to return to Grindelwald for the Mountain Flavours Festival at the Bergwelt Grindelwald Alpine Design Resort!
Grindelwald in the Bernese Alps has been calling our names for a while now. What better time to return than autumn, when the leaves turn and the surrounding peaks appear snow-capped?
The newly opened Bergwelt Grindelwald boutique hotel has invited us to its first-ever Mountain Flavour Festival. This three-day event for foodies is set at the hotel in Grindelwald from October 27 to 29, 2023.
The Mountain Flavours Festival in Grindelwald
The festival begins on Friday evening with an opening party featuring DJ Werner Zweifel and champagne from the Pernod Ricard Champagne Bar. We will enjoy a food truck event on Saturday with live music and stunning mountain views. Later that day, climate expert David Volken will lecture on the fascinating world of glaciers.
The culinary highlight of the festival is the exquisite gourmet dinner prepared by renowned chefs Urs Gschwend and Franz Faeh. The menu showcases the best alpine cuisine, with locally sourced ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
