Bringing a party to the city rooftops? A brilliant idea, if you ask us!

After last year’s sunny success, the terrasses, the balconies, the secret rooftop doors are being opened to everyone once again, now in 8 cities. The Rooftop Day is an amazing opportunity for you to rediscover your own city from another angle, have lots of fun and meet new people in special locations.

The participant’s programme can be anything, starting from yoga or dance lessons, to open air cinemas, concerts, grill parties and exhibitions in places like private properties (perhaps, your neighbor’s house?), restaurants, hotels and so on. It’s not an easy choice to do…

Make sure to check if the place of your interest requires a reservation and prepare for crowds at the most popular locations.

These are the Rooftop Day dates in different cities in Switzerland:

Saturday, June 11: Zürich, Geneva, Lausanne
Saturday, June 25: Berne and Basel
Saturday, July 2: Winterthur
Saturday, July 16: St. Gallen and Lucerne
