Sneak Peek at the Swiss National Museum (Zürich)

It is a tradition in Switzerland to set a kind of Christmas tree on top of a completed building structure. Since the end of August, this has been the case on the rooftop of the Swiss National Museum’s new addition.

What better reason for the Swiss National Museum to host an open day? Coinciding with Zürich’s Night at the Museum on Saturday, September 6, the general public is invited to get an exclusive peek of the new building in progress!

The open house offers people the chance to see the current state of the renovation and extension work. Also, get an impression of what the newly renovated National Museum will look like once it opens its latest wing. Finally, interesting facts about the National Museum’s more than 100 year old history will also be highlighted.

Sign up for a free 30 minute tour between 10 AM and 4:30 PM at the information tent on the square in front of the museum (German and French).
