Van Gogh Alive is coming to Zürich in 2020

CHF26One of the most popular multimedia exhibits is about to land in Zürich. 130 years after his death, Van Gogh Alive is our chance to enter the world of the famous Dutch painter!
The exhibit at Maag Halle in Zürich offers a state-of-the-art gallery. The combination of light, motion, crystal-clear colors, vivid details and classical music will tease all the senses. Some 3000 images will be projected on surfaces ranging from walls to ceilings and even the floor.
Van Gogh Alive is an experience for all ages
Also, photographs and video showing the sources of Van Gogh's inspiration will be augmented with his works. The organizers promise a perfectly synchronized experience which will gain the attention of visitors of all ages.
On up to 40 large-scale projections, the masterful art of Vincent Van Gogh will gain a new life of their own. Because walking among these famous Post-Impressionism paintings will feel as if the scenes are becoming alive...
It's supposed to be bewitching, entertaining and educational at the same time!
One fun fact upfront: did you know that Vincent Van Gogh produced some 860 oil paintings during the last two years of his life? Some of these, including Starry Nights, Sunflowers or the Wheat Field with Crows will be part of this exhibit.
Opening times: Mo to Sa from 11 AM to 8 PM, Su from 10 AM to 6 PM. Allow for one hour to see the exhbit. A face mask is mandatory inside the exhibition.
