Zentrum Paul Klee Anniversary Weekend (Guide)
Jun 21 - Jun 22
The iconic wave-shaped building designed by Renzo Piano celebrates two decades as Bern's cultural landmark.
This June, Zentrum Paul Klee and Creaviva invite you to join their anniversary celebration with a spectacular free festival weekend featuring live performances, creative workshops, and even hot air balloon rides over the museum. How exciting!
Since its opening in 2005, more than 3.1 million visitors have experienced the world's most significant collection of Paul Klee's works. (My visits are included in this number…) The collection includes about 4000 paintings, watercolors, and drawings by this influential artist.

2025 Exhibition Highlights at Zentrum Paul Klee
The Zentrum Paul Klee anniversary year features an impressive lineup of exhibits. The lucky ones among you will get in for free, too! (Read below who qualifies...)
Le Corbusier: The Order of Things (until June 22, 2025)
Currently on display is a major exhibit dedicated to Swiss-French artist/architect Le Corbusier. Like Paul Klee, Le Corbusier transcended traditional boundaries between disciplines, profoundly influencing 20th-century architecture, design, and visual arts.
Rose Wylie: Flick and Float (July 19 - October 5, 2025)
Summer brings the works of 90-year-old British artist Rose Wylie, whose paintings demonstrate a deep understanding of pop culture, literature, and contemporary zeitgeist, all infused with subversive humor.
Anni Albers: Constructing Textiles (November 7, 2025 - February 22, 2026)
This fall exhibit is dedicated to Anni Albers, an artistic boundary-crosser who explored the intersection between textile and architecture, weaving and building.
Kosmos Klee: The Collection
The permanent exhibition will feature rotating focuses throughout the year, including "The Musical Klee" (until June 1), "Cover Star Klee" (June 7 - September 14), and works by German-Venezuelan artist Gertrud Goldschmidt, known as Gego (September 19, 2025 - January 18, 2026).
