March is here, and although another snowfall isn't out of the question, I've got spring on my mind!
My mom always said: "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb." Thoughts of sunny days, green grass, and blooming tulips have taken over, and I am beginning to daydream of lazy Saturday mornings spent strolling through local farmers' markets.
My favorite is Luzern's farmers' market: It is open year-round, but of course there will be much more locally grown produce once we say "Tschüss" to winter for good... So, bring on spring!
If you have not been to this Luzern market yet, I highly suggest checking it out.
Offering everything from fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, and flowers to more unique products like fresh pasta, spices, herbs, and ethnic fare, there is bound to be something that tempts your taste buds.
The market is open every Tuesday and Saturday. If you are looking for a way to soak up some of this early spring sunshine, grab your reusable bag and a coffee, and go check it out!
