We are very excited that Switzerland’s south has just moved closer: thanks to the new Ceneri train tunnel, it now takes less than two hours to reach Lugano from Zurich.

We would love for you to experience the smooth travels to Ticino firsthand. On Friday, June 26, 2021, yours truly will exclusively welcome four Instagramers to Lugano! The winners of the just-launched Ceneritrip Contest are in for a dolce vita treat - train ticket included...

Bring your gear to capture the Lugano lifestyle

After arriving by train, let us show you around Lugano’s alleys, hotel lobbies, and museums. Our walking workshop stops at several iconic spots along the lake, from the LAC Lugano to the famous gate at Parc Giani.

It will be fun to get to know one another! Mamiko and I will be sharing some of our Instagram know-how. We will help you find the best vantage points for compelling photographs. And we will let you in on some Instagram Story hacks.

Weather permitting, we might even hop on paddle boats for a change of perspective. How fun! Or we might take you to our secret hideaway with majestic views of Lugano Bay...

And finally, our perfect day together in Lugano comes with aperitivo and a delicious lunch!

Have we whetted your appetite for the Ceneritrip Contest?

To enter, all you will have to do is pencil Friday, June 26, into your agenda. Then, head over to the contest page to enter by June 6.

Simply tell us why you should win the prize! Hint: the Ticino Tourism jury is looking for four travel enthusiasts who love sharing their impressions on Instagram. Winners were announced on @ticinoturismo on June 10.
