Switzerland sticks out when it comes to fashion. Especially so when it comes to tourist fashion, apparently. According to a recent survey on the bild.de portal, Swiss tourists rank as third most fashionable compared to other nations!
It seems that the Swiss know a little something about image management, even when traveling abroad... Even school children know that white tennis socks, sneakers and fanny packs are big no-no's!
In case you were wondering who in the world dresses ever more fashionable than the Swiss, here it goes:
1. Swedes
2. Spaniards, Italians and Danish
While keeping up with Southern style and Northern elegance will be a tough bet for the Swiss, it is no real surprise that Schweizer beat the British in terms of tourist fashion. It might help the latter to avoid the dreaded "sandals and socks combo" once in a while...

My teacher’s name is Schweizer. But it’s not pronounced ‘switzer’ or however… Does her name mean ‘swiss’ or is it just weird.
