Switzerland by Night Video

Professional photographer by day, artist by night: Alessandro Della Bella certainly has a passion for his camera!

Della Bella was born and raised in Arosa, Switzerland. Despite having lived in Zurich, he stayed true to his heritage and maintains a special fascination for mountains. Then, a few years ago, he developed a passion for night photography which has now culminated in a spectacular video!

Producing a time-lapse video actually involves taking thousands of individual photographs. Now, imagine doing this in the darkness of the night - and at freezing temperatures! While several layers of clothing help to keep him warm, Della Bella's girlfriend is often out there with him.

His latest project, Helvetia by Night, went viral and gave me goosebumps when I first watched it...
