From May onwards, Zürich's numerous outdoor bars are amazing places to have a drink and chill out. And the outdoor season can last until October with temperatures up to the mid-twenties - giving you an (almost) Mediterranean feeling!

So here are our top 10 Zürich outdoor bars! Try them one by one and you will be ready to start right over...

Rimini Bar
In the heart of the city, trendy and cozy. You can have a swim there, enjoy one of the two Arabic style lounges, order a pizza and zip a Mexican or Swiss beer.

They play good music in the evenings, and Rimini Bar usually closes at midnight.

Oberer Letten
By far the best place to combine swimming and cocktail zipping! The entrance is free, as well as deck chairs, showers and changing rooms.

Cocoa Beach (previously known as City Beach)
In the trendy industrial Hardbrücke quarters, on top of a parking lot, you will find this very special beach bar.

Frau Gerolds Garten
Cargo containers, designers' shops, barbecue food, a bar, a restaurant and live music: Frau Gerolds Garten is an unmissable place in the summer! This hang-out spot is located right next to the flagship Freitag shop and the Prime Tower, and just a few steps from the Viadukt market.

My recommendation: Enjoy a few drinks and the music, then have dinner at the Viadukt restaurant next to Josefswiese park!

Seebad Enge Kiosk
A trendy (and often packed) floating beach and bar. With its very own lake pool... And thanks to their plastic cups, drinking and swimming can be combined!

SAMIGO Amusement
Previously known as QUAI 61, SAMIGO Amusement has a nice upper deck where you will have an amazing view on the lake and the mountains. On the ground floor, there is a fun restaurant with edgy entertainment.
